PENGUIN HOCKEY CLUB NOTCHES 1ST VICTORY

The Penguin Hockey Club of Pottstown posted its first victory of the season, at home over the Springfield H.C. Pony team, 5-1, to bring its seasonal record to 1-1.

Paving the way to the initial Delaware Valley Hockey League win was Stacy Pancoast, who scored two goals and notched one assist.

Ken McGrath, Tim O'Shaunesay and Jim Wendell also scored goals for the winners.

The Penguins are a non profit group promoting junior hockey in the Pottstown area. The coaches are Don Lea, Cliff Little and Jim Gosnell, members of the Hill School faculty.
